Event:  Duke Law DC Summer Institute - Professional Growth

The Duke Law D.C. Summer Institute will offer two intensive courses intended as professional growth opportunities for lawyers and other practitioners working in Washington. The courses will cover such topics as the changing landscape of law practice, skills development, the lawyer’s role in advising and facilitating corporate transactions, and more.

Essential Business for Lawyers

August 1, 2014 | 8:30-5:30 p.m.
The course will explore the business context in which lawyers function, as well as the lawyer’s role in strategy, risk analysis and management, and advising and facilitating corporate transactions.
